We were established in 1990 as a family farm. We started out breeding Appaloosa's & showing them on the local circuits. In 1996 we had our first paint foal born on the farm. We showed in the NJ, MD, PA, DE, NY and VA Paint Futuities and did very well with numerous futurity champions. Our son was born in 1996 and once he got started showing we switched our focus from Paints to Quarter Horses.Our son was top 5 at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in the Cinch sponsored Dummy Roping Contest. His horse Im Certainly A Star , trained by Kim & Renee Myers and Family Quarter Horses in Felton, PA was also a finalist in the Congress Western Pleasure Maturity and has placed in the top ten at Congress.In 2008 our son was a finialist in the 11 and under Western Pleasure on top of Im Certainly A Star and was top 10 in the Dummy Roping.We started installing fencing in 1994 here on our farm and expanded into installing it professionally.Quail Covey Farm
